Attic House is a notable cedar Country House. Although constructed in 1997, it has verandahs, balconies and lots of dormer windows reminiscent of grand guest houses of 100 years ago!
Of course, the facilities are absolutely up to date - Attic House was built to be a Bed and Breakfast home. Which is a big advantage - everything was planned right from the start with guests' comfort and privacy in mind.

"BEST NEW ACCOMMODATION" 1998 DANDENONG RANGES TOURISM AWARDS |
|
At Attic House, Colan and Judy provide a warm, comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. On arrival, you will be welcomed with home-cooked afternoon tea on the shady Verandahs or in the Lounge beside the fire.
Next morning - a mouth-watering breakfast in the Dining Room or on the Verandahs – whatever you prefer. There are ten restaurants within easy reach.
Doing very little in a peaceful environment is a great stress-break. When you feel the urge to move around, the Dandenongs are great for walkers. A short distance from Attic House are the William Ricketts Sanctuary, a multitude of craft shops and tearooms, the world-famous Puffing Billy Steam Railway and a panoramic view of Melbourne from the summit of Mount Dandenong. Plus Sherbrooke Forest, with a chance of seeing the unique lyrebird. And many beautiful national parks and gardens. Check the "Must See Attractions" page of this site. |
